'NAGFORM_SHEET' Software Program

NAGFORM_SHEET is a rule based software program for designing forming progression of deep drawn sheet metal parts. It allows the user to capture manufacturing knowledge and use it to design forming progressions in minutes for similar parts. The sequence designs created in NAGFORM_SHEET can be quickly validated in NAGSIM_SM.2D FEA simulation program. The NAGFORM_SHEET program is available as a stand-alone software and also an Add-In for SolidWorks.

'NF_Sheet' Add-In for SolidWorks

NF_Sheet Add-In program is a version of NAGFORM_SHEET that works within SolidWorks program. The part model can be constructed within SolidWorks or can be imported from the NAGFORM_SHEET file. The sequence design is created within SolidWorks using forming rules and design logic of experienced designers.

'NAGSIM_SM.2D' Simulation Program

NAGSIM_SM.2D is a finite element software program for the computer simulation of two dimensional sheet forming processes such as deep drawing, stretching and bending. It can simulate large plastic deformation of the deforming part as well as elastic deformation of the tools. It compliments NAGFORM_SHEET program for obtaining the forming progression for deep drawn parts. NAGFORM_SHEET program uses design logic, forming rules and simple analyses to come up with forming design concepts. NAGSIM_SM.2D can be used to validate and improve the concept designs.

NAGSIM_SM.3D Beta Version

NAGSIM_SM.3D uses an incremental finite element analysis solver that is specifically designed for sheet metal forming processes. The program uses two types of elements , a pressure modified tetra element and a brick element for  automatic meshing and analysis. NAGSIM_SM.3D can predict deformation in any three dimensional sheet forming process. However, the solver uses a Rigid-Plastic formulation that does not include elastic deformation of the sheet.

NAGSIM_SM.3D simulates one operation at a time. The part geometry can be imported in a STL format or from a previous operation simulation
